Kay new Signs Now regional director

Brian Kay has been named regional operations director for the southeast region of Signs Now, a division of Allegra Network LLC. Kay has more than 14 years of ownership experience with the Lakewood Ranch.

Mike Miller is now franchise development coordinator at the division offices.

Sarah Malpeli has joined the marketing department as public relations manager.

Coastal Printing wins 12 statewide awards

Coastal Printing Inc., 1730 Independence Blvd. in Sarasota, received 12 awards at the 21st annual Printing Association of Florida statewide print competition. That included two awards of excellence, four judges awards, five best of category awards and the "Pink Flamingo Award."

Hurlbert earns his LEED accreditation

Jason Hurlbert of WilsonMiller, a planning, design and engineering firm, has earned his accreditation from the United States Green Building Council for "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design," or LEED. He joins a team of 11 WilsonMiller LEED-accredited professionals. Hurlbert is the first engineer intern to earn the accreditation.

Progressive starts timekeeping service

Progressive Employer Services, a Sarasota-based professional employer organization, has launched a new Web-based time and attendance service called "Ez2clock" through a strategic partnership with WebApps Inc., also called SaaS.com.

Zeckel joins Re/Max Premier Services

Frank Zeckel has joined Re/Max Premier Services, 5200 Ocean Blvd. on Siesta Key. Zerkel has 10 years experience in banking/finance and was formerly a branch manager with Regions Bank.
